"It is survival" - Danica Patrick aligns with views on Taylor Swift, Eminem, Beyoncé's 'non-organic' backing of Kamala Harris
Danica Patrick commented on celebrities like Taylor Swift and Eminem supporting Kamala Harris for the upcoming US election. Via a reposted reel on Instagram, Patrick said supporting the current US Vice-President was not passion but ‘survival', with the endorsements aimed to garner 'non-organic' supporters.
Patrick is a 42-year-old professional racecar driver who competed full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series with Stewart-Haas Racing from 2013 to 2017. Earlier this year, the former driver made her political stance known, declaring her support for Donald Trump in the election.
In an Instagram story, Danica Patrick wrote:
“Watch it to the end. [Kamala's] support is not a passion, it is survival.”
The reposted reel talked about celebrities endorsing Kamala Harris for the election. Posted by internet personality Lennie Moreno, it pointed out that the celebrities didn’t even perform in the VP’s rallies, explaining it was a strategy to garner more ‘non-organic’ supporters for the election.
Moreno also mentioned that celebrities who were allegedly involved in the Diddy Guest list came to support Harris. For the uninitiated, rapper Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, is under fire for alleged crimes such as rape and sexual extortion, some of which reportedly occurred in the Diddy Party.
The 2024 US elections are scheduled to be held on November 5.
Danica Patrick opened up about her reason for supporting Donald Trump
In an interview with Jesse Watters via FOX News, Danica Patrick shared why she is voting Donald Trump for the upcoming election. The 42-year-old claimed the aforementioned presidential candidate is the ‘rational, reasonable’ choice for making America ‘greater than it’s ever been.’
The former driver said:
"I'm passionate because it feels like voting for Donald Trump is like the vote of reason. It's like the rational, reasonable choice. I feel like most of all, though, what this country could be if he gets into office with all of the amazing, brilliant people that are supporting him, I feel like it could not only be make America great again, but make America greater than it's ever been," the former NASCAR driver said [at 01:59].
Since announcing her support for Donald Trump, Patrick has become vocal in criticizing Kamala Harris. The Wisconsin native once slammed the vice president for, in her own words, repeating herself and taking long pauses during an interview with Oprah Winfrey. She also backed Andrew Tate after the social media personality called Harris voters ‘dumb.’
Outside politics, Danica Patrick remains in the motorsports scene as a broadcaster for F1. Recently, Patrick graced the 2024 United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas where she joined guys like Martin Brundle and Jenson Button to cover the race.
