Joey Logano’s victory prize trophy from Nashville race used by a band in Team Penske’s Team Win party
Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Joey Logano's Nashville winner's guitar was used by Team Penske's No. 22 crew's Team Win Party. Logano won his first race of the season at Nashville Superspeedway earlier this year.
It took 49 races, but Joey Logano finally snapped his winless streak. In what was a historic race that featured a record five overtimes, he emerged victorious and sealed his spot into the Cup Series playoffs.
The race, which featured 31 extra laps and 15 total cautions, saw numerous race leaders fall out of contention with each late-race restart. Logano and his Team Penske crew gambled on the No. 22 Ford Mustang's fuel endurance, turning 110 laps on the final tank of fuel.
Joey Logano finished just 0.068 seconds ahead of Spire Motorsports rookie Zane Smith. His victory was a significant turnaround, having entered the race 14th in points, with only two top-five finishes and five top-10s. This win not only propelled him into the playoffs but also joined him with his Team Penske teammates Ryan Blaney and Austin Cindric. They had secured their playoff spots earlier in the season.
Following the victory, Joey Logano was presented with the traditional Nashville winner's Gibson guitar. This unique trophy became the highlight of a video that recently surfaced online showing Logano's #22 crew using the guitar during their Team Win Party.

Joey Logano elaborates on his chances of a third NASCAR Cup title in 2024
Logano last won the Cup title in 2022. In 2023, he was one of the first drivers to be eliminated from the playoffs. However, following the much-needed win in Nashville, the 34-year-old driver has found a rejuvenated confidence.
When asked in an interview if he could be a legitimate contender for the title, Joey Logano affirmed his belief in his potential to clinch a third NASCAR Cup title.
"Absolutely. We always think we can win the championship. There’s a lot of stepping stones and things you had to do to get there but you bring it up plenty of times," Logano said in an interview with Cup Scene on YouTube. (22:14)
Reflecting on past seasons, he added:
"If you think of 2018, and I’ve said it before, I remember having the conversation with my wife just saying gosh I hope we get through the first round of these playoffs because I felt that is where we were from a speed perspective and all of a sudden it got better. We did that in 18, we did it in 22, hopefully, we do it again this year."
Joey Logano is ranked 14th in the NASCAR Cup Series standings after 20 races. He has 484 points to his name, courtesy of three top-five finishes.
