Kyle Larson will continue racing in November despite the conclusion of the NASCAR Cup Series

Despite the conclusion of the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season, Kyle Larson will reportedly suit up to continue racing but on dirt. Larson will run three races in the USAC National Midget this month along with a fellow active Cup Series champion.

Kyle Larson is a NASCAR Cup Series driver piloting the No. 5 Chevrolet Camaro for Hendrick Motorsports. The recently concluded Cup Series season witnessed the 32-year-old driver win the most races at six and lead the most laps at 1,700 laps. However, he was eliminated in the Round of 8, with Joey Logano ultimately winning the championship.

According to USAC Racing, Larson will run the races with Silva Motorsports along with teammate Tyler Courtney. The first stop will be in Midget Madness at Merced Speedway on November 23, followed by the November Classic at Bakersfield Speedway on November 26.

Rounding the 2021 Cup Series champ’s November schedule will be the Turkey Night Grand Prix at Ventura Speedway on November 30.

The Californian had found success in the aforementioned race events before. The motorsports driver had three wins at Merced Speedway and earned an average finish of 1.5 at Bakersfield Speedway. Moreover, he had four victories at Ventura Raceway (2012, 2016, 2019, 2023).

As mentioned earlier, a fellow NASCAR Cup Series champion will join him on track this month. Two-time champ Kyle Busch is set to debut in the USAC Midget National Championship at Bakersfield Speedway on November 26. He will also participate in the Ventura Raceway stop the following week.

In a statement, Busch said:

“The Cup season may be over, but the racing season is still in full swing with the biggest events on dirt taking place over the next couple of months.”
