NASCAR lady McCall updates on her first night in Las Vegas amid Zane Smith's South Point 400 race
After wrapping up the Round of 12 finale at Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course, NASCAR moved to Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the 34th Cup Series race weekend. The gambling capital of the world is famous for its bustling nightlife.
McCall's IG story exhibited being sleepy despite checking in their hotel a while before. Mrs. Smith shared her 'LOL' moment with her fans, writing, "I already look sleepy and I just got here. LOL."
McCall's husband Zane Smith had a sluggish regular season and couldn't punch his playoff ticket. However, compared to his performance in the initial 26 races, where he collected a solitary top-5 and two top-10s, the Spire Motorsports driver bagged one top-5 and two top-10s in the seven playoff races held thus far.
He kicked off his South Point 400 run from 14th place but couldn't maintain the pace of his #71 Chevy and fell to a 28th-place finish in Stage 1. However, his game turned up a notch during the second stage, as he swerved past his rivals to settle in 15th. The final stage witnessed the Smith drop one track position to post a 16th-place finish.
Zane Smith is 30th in NASCAR Cup Series rankings, his best since debuting in NASCAR's Premier Level at the 2022 Enjoy Illinois 300 at Gateway Motorsports Park.
