"Played dress up": Harrison Burton's fiancé Jenna Petty shimmers in chic all-black mini dress for an 'adorable Italian restaurant' date
Wood Brothers Racing driver Harrison Burton's fiancé Jenna Petty recently shared pictures of her date night with Burton on her social media. Jenna went on a shopping spree before the dinner date, bought an adorable dress for the night, and shared glimpses of the night on her Instagram.
Burton and his fiancé have been together since they were teenagers. They started dating in 2017 when they were just 15 years old. After dating for almost seven years, the couple got engaged on 27 March 2024 at Gapstow Bridge in Central Park, New York.
The couple is currently in Miami, ahead of the Straight Talk Wireless 400, the second race of the round of eight scheduled on 25 October at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Before the race, Harrison Burton's fiancé went to the Love Shack Fancy outlet to buy a dress for her date.
Jenna Petty shared an image of a sleeveless black dress from LoveShackFancy's almost all-black Nori Nights collection. She wore the Tulle Mini Halter dress with a small pendant and a bracelet in her left hand. She loved the dress and captioned the post:
"played dress up 💃🏻"
The couple then went to the Trattoria Moderna, aka the La Moderna restaurant located at 1847 Bay Road, Miami Beach, Florida, for their date. The restaurant is well-recognized for its pizza and also offers lunch and dinner. Jenna wrote:
"found an adorable italian restaurant 🍝"
Burton's fiancé also shared a picture of him while he was having a drink. The couple also met Front Row Motorsports driver Todd Gilliland's wife, Marissa Gilliland, and their golden retriever had a great time with her on the Miami beach.
Harrison Burton ditched his buddy Todd Gilliland for a date night with his fiancé
Harrison Burton apologized to Front Row Motorsports driver Todd Gilliand after he made plans with his fiancé. Despite being rivals on track, the duo are good friends off-track and often hit golf courses together.
After Todd expressed his take on Austin Dillon's wreck at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, a fan questioned the FRM driver about his take on the WBR rival Burton. Gilliand replied with a complaint that Burton didn't invite him to the dinner. The tweet came across the #21 driver, and Burton explained:
"Had a nice date night with my fiancé sorry dude 😂"
To make up for the loss, Burton went on a golf game with his FRM rival and suggested that the PGA hire Gilliand as an announcer, highlighting the latter's love for the sport. Harrison Burton wrote:
"Just to close the loop on this went golfing to make it up to @ToddGilliland. I played so bad I asked him to film me so I could see what was wrong… then hit the first good shot all day (hire him as an announcer @PGATOUR)."
Gilliand and Burton last battled at the South Point race held on 20 October 2024, at Las Vegas Motorsports. The WBR driver finished in P15, and the FRM driver finished in P31.
