"Queen of the Ham Fam" - Denny Hamlin celebrates fiancée Jordan Fish with heartfelt birthday message
Denny Hamlin took to social media on Monday to celebrate his fiancee Jordan Fish's 37th birthday. Born on October 27, 1987, Fish was affectionately referred to as the "queen of the Ham Fam" by Hamlin.
Hamlin and Fish have been in a long-time relationship with each other. The couple started dating in 2009, having first met in 2007. At the time, Fish was a cheerleader for the Charlotte Bobcats and was a part of the Lady Cats.
Fish was performing in one of the Bobcats' matches that year. It was during one of these games, while Hamlin was courtside, that their paths crossed and a connection formed. Their relationship blossomed, but unfortunately, they broke up in 2021.
However, the couple reconciled in 2022 and have remained together since. Hamlin and Fish are parents to two daughters: Taylor James Hamlin, born in 2013, and Molly Gold Hamlin, born in 2017..
Taking to his official Instagram account, Hamlin posted a series of photos where the couple and their daughters were seen sharing some heartwarming moments. The post garnered over 14,000 likes, and nearly 300 comments.
"Happy Birthday to the queen of the Ham Fam. Love you. @xojordanfish," wrote the Joe Gibbs Racing driver.
After she retired from cheerleading, Jordan Fish turned into an entrepreneur. She began her own clothing line, named Bambinos, in August 2014.
The clothing line caters to adults, as well as children. Besides working as an entrepreneur and a cheerleader, Fish also worked with the NASCAR Media Group.
Denny Hamlin looked back at his Homestead loss, reflected on his drawback
Following the conclusion of the Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami, Denny Hamlin opened up performance as he lost the lead of the race despite having all the amenities at his disposal.
"I wasn't really great on the short run all day but they (the No. 11 crew) gave me everything I needed there to get the lead and I just wasn't able to hold it," Hamlin told the media after the race.
Hamlin started the race from the fourth position and managed to take the lead for 21 laps. However, he was unable to maintain his advantage, ultimately losing it to Tyler Reddick, who went on to win the race.
Denny Hamlin currently sits in sixth place in the playoffs, 18 points below the cutline. He'll need to outperform Hendrick Motorsports drivers Kyle Larson and William Byron at the upcoming Martinsville race or secure a win to advance to the Championship 4.
