"Was so embarrassed and upset" - Samantha Busch recalls her struggles with Alopecia as she pens message to people battling autoimmune disease

Samantha Busch recently shared a picture of her hair loss while suffering from the autoimmune disease Alopecia. She is married to Richard Childress Racing driver Kyle Busch.

Two-time Cup Series champion Kyle Busch and his wife have been together for almost 14 years and are quite vocal about their struggles, including IVF. More recently, Samantha Busch shared about her fight with an autoimmune disease called Alopecia, that causes hair loss.

The 38-year-old entrepreneur shared an image from last year on her Instagram stories in which, her patches could be shown. Her caption read:

"I can't believe this was one year ago today. I was so embarrassed and upset."

Furthermore, Kyle Busch's wife sent out a heartfelt message for people struggling with Alopecia, stating:

"Thinking of all of you today facing similar situations, I know it's not easy to stay positive when the hair won't stop falling out. I pray you find you answer to solve it too."

Kyle Busch finished the 2024 Cup Series season in 20th position with 766 points to his name. His best performance was back-to-back runner-up finishes during the last two races of the regular season, namely, the Coke Zero Sugar 400 and the Cook Out Southern 500.

All in all, the 39-year-old amassed five Top-5 finishes and ten Top-10 finishes during the 2024 Cup Series season.


"Home is wherever I am with you,": Samantha Busch penned down a heartfelt note after the end of 2024 NASCAR season

Kyle Busch and Samantha, the power couple of the NASCAR series, shared reflected on their rollercoaster year after the final NASCAR race at Phoenix Raceway.

Having known each other since 2007, the couple has had their fair share of ups and downs, building a strong relationship. From managing health problems, and injuries, to managing hectic racing schedules and victories.

In a recent post on Instagram, Samantha Busch reflected on this year's racing season and wrote:

"People always ask how we handle being on the road most of the year between Kyle and Brexton’s races. The truth is, every track, every town, and every season brings its own magic and memories. From long days at Milbridge to moments that remind us why we love this life, it’s all about being together. The 2024 season in photos — because home is wherever I am with you all. ❤️"

On the other hand, the #8 Chevy driver of RCR had an underwhelming season as he stood winless for the first time in his full-time career. Busch also penned a note to his 2024 NASCAR season and said:

"Arguably the toughest year of my career. Full of trials, n heartbreaks. I know my RCR guys r gonna get after it this winter n we’ll come back stronger nxt season. Grateful for all of our partners, helping us do what we love. Thx Rowdy Nation for sticking w me. Y’all r the best.💯"

Busch is next set to compete in a few races later this month at Bakersfield Speedway and Ventura Raceway. He will make his Chili Bowl Nationals debut during the 39th edition of the event in January, 2025.
