"She loves it; It just bothers me" - Cole Custer, Allgaier, Allmendinger & Hill have fun with pre-Xfinity Championship banter

NASCAR's Xfinity Championship 4 drivers shared some friendly comments and jokes ahead of the final race at Phoenix Raceway this Saturday.

In an interview by NASCAR on NBC, Cole Custer, Justin Allgaier, AJ Allmendinger, and Austin Hill answered each other's questions. First playoff seed, Allgaier talked about his favorite karaoke song, Sweet Caroline, and asked Cole Custer about his famous mustache.

Custer, the defending Xfinity Series Champion, responded by saying that his wife loves it but he is not a big fan.

"My wife, yeah, she loves it. She wanted me to do it. But for me, I'm not a huge fan. It's just, it bothers me. But at the end of the day, it was in playoffs, and we had to do what we got to do," Custer said.

Kaulig Racing‘s Allmendinger shared that he hopes to play golf and relax on the beach with his dogs, Taro and Arrow, during the off-season. He then asked the 30-year-old Hill about his bacon routine before races.

"I wanna know how much bacon Austin is going to eat championship race - less bacon, or is it more bacon," asked Allmendinger.

Hill, who eats exactly four pieces of bacon each race morning, wants to stick to his routine. He joked that it took some "trial and error" to get the number right.

"I think I need to keep it the same that I've kept it all year. I eat four pieces of bacon every morning before a race on Saturday. So we're going to keep it at the four piece mark. We're not going to go over because I don't want to get a stomach ache and I don't want to have two less because I gotta have the energy levels," Hill responded.
