“Time goes too fast”: Samantha Busch reacts to son Brexton growing up ‘too fast’

Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch's wife, Samantha Busch, reminisced about their son Brexton's first victory in the junior category as he concluded his 2024 racing calendar at Millbridge Speedway on October 29.

The nine-year-old Brexton, a third-generation Busch family racer, recently announced he would be stepping up to higher categories next season, marking his final race in the Winged Karts at Millbridge Speedway. Reflecting on his journey, Brexton shared photos from his early victories and other memorable milestones.

The 38-year-old mum shared a picture on her Instagram Stories, reminiscing about Brexton's first victory at Mountain Creek Speedway, when he was just five years old in 2020. The picture from victory lane showed a much younger Brexton, celebrating with his parents when Kyle Busch was still a Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota driver.

"Look how little 🥹, time goes away too fast" Samantha wrote on her Instagram stories on October 29.

Brexton also penned a note reflecting on his journey in winged karts at Millbridge, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to pursue his dream of becoming a third-generation racer, following in the footsteps of his grandad, his NASCAR Cup championship-winning father, Kyle, and his uncle, Kurt Busch.

"Tonight is my last race running Wing Karts full-time at Millbridge. I’ve captured countless victories and memories racing Wing Karts not just at Millbridge, but across the country. @prcnation89 has played an important part of my early growth as a race car driver. Giving us the fastest and safest chassis they possibly could. My time in a PRC helped me find my footing as I chase my dream of being a third-generation race car driver like my grandpa, uncle, and dad before me. Next year, I’ll move into bigger and faster divisions as I continue my journey." the caption on his post read.
