"We've had so much success together" - Brad Keselowski expresses thoughts on RFK naming Jeremy Bullins as crew chief for 2025
Former NASCAR Cup Series champion Brad Keselowski and crew chief Jeremy Bullins will be reunited as a driver-crew chief combination in 2025. The duo were together from 2020-2021 at Team Penske until Keselowski opted to leave the team ahead of the 2022 season.
The news of the Keselowski/Bullins reunion was shared by The Athletic motorsports reporter Jordan Bianchi via X. The racing insider made note of the two's history, writing:
"RFK Racing names Jeremy Bullins crew chief for Brad Keselowski and the No. 6 team. Bullins was Keselowski’s crew chief for two seasons when they were at Team Penske, with them winning five races and finishing runner-up in the 2020 championship."
Keselowski broke the news when he posted a video clip to X as he explained how 2025 would be another year of change for himself and his #6 RFK Racing team. The 2012 Cup Series champion wrote:
"Jeremy and I share a lot of history, and I’m excited to have him join the No. 6 team as we compete together again. We’ve set big goals for 2025!"
In the video clip posted, the 40-year-old spoke highly of his former crew chief, noting that they almost reached the pinnacle of NASCAR in 2020 when they finished runner-up in the championship race. Now, the 36-time Cup Series winner said they're aiming to recreate the success they had at Team Penske.
"2025 is another season of change for myself and the 6 team," Keselowski said. "I'm excited to bring Jeremy Bullins back as the crew chief. We had so much success together, with five wins in the NASCAR Cup Series, nearly winning the championship in 2020, three owner's titles in the NASCAR Xfinity Series. He and I have really clicked our entire career. I can't wait to see what we can do in 2025 and beyond."
Bullins most recently was atop the pit box for Harrison Burton as he helped guide the #21 Wood Brother's Racing car to victory at the Daytona International Speedway in the final race of the regular season in 2024. Keselowski, meanwhile, snapped a 110-race winless drought at the Darlington Raceway earlier this year, marking the first win for himself as an owner-driver since partnering with Jack Roush to co-own RFK Racing in 2022.
Brad Keselowski's team, RFK Racing, expanding to three cars in 2025
Brad Keselowski's co-owned team with Jack Roush will field three full-time NASCAR Cup Series cars in 2025. Ryan Preece, former driver of the #41 Stewart-Haas Racing car, will field the brand new #60 RFK Racing Ford in 2025.
The news was broken via RFK Racing on X when the organization posted a hype video of their three cars racing side-by-side. To go along with the news regarding Preece, it was also announced that Kroger will be a primary sponsor on all three RFK Racing cars in 2025.
"It's been a long time coming. ... Kroger, the No. 60, and Ryan Preece are all headed to RFK Racing for 2025," the team wrote.
RFK Racing won two races in 2024 with Keselowski's triumph at Darlington and Chris Buescher wheeling the #17 car to victory at Watkins Glen International. However, only Keselowski managed to make the playoffs of the two.
