NASCAR Rumors: FRM to announce Noah Gragson as Todd Gilliland's teammate tomorrow
Stewart-Haas Racing driver Noah Gragson is rumored to join Front Row Motorsports as a Cup Series driver for the 2025 season. The #10 driver was left without a seat in the Cup Series for next year as SHR announced its exit from NASCAR at the end of the current season.
Earlier this season, Front Row Motorsports (FRM) made a surprising move by purchasing a charter from Stewart-Haas Racing, enabling them to expand from running two teams to three teams in the 2025 season.
With Front Row Motorsports announcing their new driver tomorrow, Bob Pockrass wrote on X (formerly Twitter):
"Front Row will make a 2025 driver announcement at 1p ET Wednesday. It will livestream on its team YouTube channel ... Noah Gragson said last week that he expected to have an announcement soon on his 2025 Cup ride. (I would expect it is this)."
39-year-old veteran Michael McDowell has competed in over 200 races for Front Row Motorsports (FRM) driving the #34 Ford. McDowell will be joining Spire Motorsports on a multi-year contract for the 2025 season.
The 2021 Daytona 500 winner, who has been with FRM since 2018, is set to start a new chapter in his racing career. This move, along with the new charter purchase, has left FRM with two vacancies to fill for the upcoming season. Gragson is rumored to fill one of these vacancies.

Noah Gragson shed light on his future in NASCAR, hinting at his intentions to stay in the Cup Series for the upcoming season. Gragson is one of four SHR drivers in the spotlight during the silly season. Although SHR teammates Josh Berry and Chase Briscoe have found a spot for the 2025 season, Gragson has said he feels good about his possibilities.
In a recent interview with Bob Pockrass, Noah Gragson was asked about his possibilities in the Cup Series for 2025. He gave a measured response, saying:
"Probably within the next week or two, you'll start hearing some stuff so, we're getting there."
Talking about the impact of getting closer to a decision, Gragson said:
"The closer you get, allows you to focus more on just doing your job on the weekend, rather than your mind wandering and running, what's going to happen next year. Obviously it's easier said than done, not to think about next year and just focus on right now."
Ahead of the Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono, Noah Gragson is P23 in the driver standings. He has secured one top-five and 6 top-ten finishes this season. With an underwhelming performance in Chicago where he finished P14, Gragson would be looking for a resurgence in Pennsylvania.
