Samantha Busch lights up Miami in sleeveless abstract dress, standing firm by Kyle Busch through tough times
NASCAR driver Kyle Busch's wife Samantha Busch recently made a stylish appearance during the playoff race at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
The two-time Cup Series champion managed a 31st-place finish at Sunday's Straight Talk Wireless 400. Busch did not qualify for the NASCAR Cup Series playoffs this year and is currently 20th in the standings. He has had five top-five and ten top-10 finishes this season.
Samantha, who is a regular at Kyle's races, posted a story about standing by him during the "hard year." She wore a sleeveless abstract dress at the 1.5-mile oval speedway in Florida.
"Been a hard year at the track but I'll always be by your side," Samantha Busch wrote.
You can check her full dress in the post below.
"Miami part ✌️ 🏁," Samantha rwrote.
Kyle Busch's season has not gone as planned. In addition to missing the playoffs, the Richard Childress Racing driver is yet to win at least one race to keep his 19-year streak alive. Kyle has won at least once every season and a win this season would extend that streak to 20.
"I wish we could have come away with a better finish in the Chevrolet at Homestead-Miami Speedway, but not much went our way today. The positive is that we led a few laps today...This team is determined and we have two more races left to get a win before the season is over,” Busch said (via NBC sports).
The 39-year-old finished second at big races like Daytona and Darlington. However, recent races have not been as lucky for him. His No. 8 Chevrolet spun out while leading at Kansas and he has not earned a single top-10 finish in any of the last seven races.
"Still my baby" - Samantha Busch on son Brexton
Samantha, who first met Kyle in 2007, has been married for over ten years and has two children. Their nine-year son, Brexton Busch also competes in racing events. He started racing at five and won the Tuesday night Beginner Box Millbridge championship last year.
She also shared a picture from Sunday's race with her older son.
"You might be taller then me soon but your still my baby," she wrote.
Kyle Busch is preparing Brexton for a future in NASCAR to create a family racing legacy.
"I want to keep him on the dirt and asphalt realm; I don’t feel like you should go one way or the other. I like what we’re doing right now. He gets in his Bandolero car and he knows what he’s got to do on pavement; he gets into his dirt car and he knows what he’s got to do on dirt...And then by 16, he’ll be ready for some Trucks.” Busch said this in an interview with Jeff Gluck.
Brexton Busch also won a race at Charlotte Motor Speedway on “Dad Vibes Night” at the speedway’s Summer Shootout, earlier this year.
