5 NFL players to be traded by teams before the trade deadline ends
As per usual, some NFL players will be on the move before the trade deadline passes. Every year there are trades that happen during the season. Some teams are looking to improve in order to make a postseason push while others are looking to unload before they rebuild in the offseason. The NFL trade deadline this season is set for November 2nd. Here are 5 NFL players who will be on the move before then.
5 NFL players who will be traded this season
#1 - Deshaun Watson, QB, Houston Texans
The Deshaun Watson saga is still ongoing in relation to his legal situation off the field. The Texans initially said they would not trade him at all. They then made him available, and have now reportedly lowered their asking price. If they trade Watson at a discount, he will likely be traded.
Even with the unknowns, someone will take a chance on Watson. He is one of the best NFL players in the league when available. He led the NFL in passing yards last year and could make a huge difference for any team he plays for. The Texans are going through a full rebuild and Watson does not want to be a part of it. They should trade him now and get what they can for him.
#2 - Marlon Mack, RB, Indianapolis Colts
Marlon Mack is one of the more interesting NFL players available via trade right now. He ran for over 1000 yards in 2019 before being replaced as the main running back by Jonathan Taylor. Nyheim Hines also just signed an extension with the Colts, so Mack is left without a big role.
Mack is one of the NFL players available that could help a team right away. He is only 25 years old and should have plenty left to contribute. A team in need of a solid all-around running back should consider trading for him. He will more than likely be traded before the deadline.
