Aaron Rodgers once claimed spotting a UFO during a "bizarre" encounter

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers isn't one to shy away from conspiracy theories. In 2020, during a weekly appearance on "The Pat McAfee Show", Rodgers gave insight into an experience he had where he believed he had seen a UFO.

The then-Green Bay Packers star told Pat McAfee and A.J. Hawk about the incident, which occurred 15 years prior at his friend Steve Levy's home in New Jersey. Aaron Rodgers recalled seeing lights in the sky despite it being cloudy and snowy.

"There's a documentary called Close Encounters of the fifth kind.... long before this happened, 15 years ago, I told the story on the nervous podcast with Pete Holmes, comedian friend of mine. But I told a story about how I was in New Jersey with a teammate of mine, Steve Levy. And Steve has been asked after I shared this on the podcast five years ago or so, he's been asked to verify my story, and thankfully, he did.
"But it was him and his brother at their house in Jersey, and we saw a crazy thing in the sky that filled up most of the vantage point that we had. It was a snowy night. It was orange and moving in the clouds from left to right."

Aaron Rodgers then went on to say that as quickly as they appeared they disappeared as well. The quarterback said he believed fighter jets were then chasing the unidentified object.

"And the bizarre part that associated there was attached to it was that after went out of sight, and we were frozen looking at each other, wondering what the hell just happened. About 30 seconds after that, we heard fighter jets. And there were three of them that seem to be chasing whatever this was."

He told them that Steve Levy could corroborate his story for anyone who didn't believe him.

Aaron Rodgers' plan for unidentified drones in New Jersey

For over two weeks drones have been spotted flying over New Jersey. Some have been spotted in northern New Jersey and others in central and southern New Jersey. The Governor of New Jersey, Phil Murphy has asked for an investigation into the mystery drones but, as of Friday morning, nothing has been revealed on the origin of the drones.

On Tuesday, Aaron Rodgers asked Pat McAfee if he had heard about the drones, which he hadn't. Rodgers expressed his concern over not knowing where the drones originated from and then said that he had an idea to point lasers at them the next he saw one to see whether aliens were involved.

“I’m thinking about having a Friday night 5-E experience. It’s where you have a big kind of meditation circle and then you call in the aliens and you use little green lasers to bring them in. So thinking Friday night, if it’s a nice night, clear night, having a little 5-E experience to bring ’em in."

Pat McAfee sat and listened to Aaron Rodgers' account of the drones as he wasn't aware of the ongoing concern in the New Jersey area. The New York Jets quarterback speaking about aliens is of course nothing new but most in the area are more concerned that it could be another country's government attempting to spy.
