Bears vs. Vikings Week 15 MNF Injury Report: Latest on D'Andre Swift, Elijah Hicks, Stephon Gilmore, and more

When the Chicago Bears play the Minnesota Vikings at U.S. Bank Stadium on Monday night, they will be hoping to end a seven-game losing run and record their first road victory of the season.

The Vikings are still playing catchup in an exciting NFC North division title race after the Buffalo Bills defeated the Detroit Lions on Sunday. Meanwhile, the Bears' postseason prospects have been destroyed by their most recent loss to the San Francisco 49ers.

Let's dive into the Bears vs. Vikings injury report to see which players from both teams are carrying injury concerns.

Chicago Bears injury report for Monday Night Football

On their final injury report released on Saturday, the Chicago Bears ruled out four players for their Monday Night Football clash with the Minnesota Vikings: RB Roschon Johnson (concussion), DL Gervon Dexter Jr. (knee), OL Ryan Bates (concussion) and OL Braxton Jones (concussion).

The only other Bears' player carrying an injury designation into the game is RB D'Andre Swift, who is dealing with a groin injury that saw him unable to log any full practice participation this week. He is listed as questionable for the Monday night game.

D'Andre Swift injury update

Due to a groin issue that has persisted for several weeks, running back D'Andre Swift's availability for the game against the Minnesota Vikings is still uncertain.

Swift did not practice on Thursday and Friday this past week, and he was only able to log limited participation in the session held on Saturday. Although Swift is officially classified as questionable for MNF, it's encouraging that interim head coach Thomas Brown expressed confidence when talking about his chances of playing.

Swift was also designated questionable for last week's matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, but he ultimately suited up for that game.

Elijah Hicks injury update

Elijah Hicks was not available for the Chicago Bears' last three games due to an ankle injury. However, the third-year safety is set to return to the field this week as the Bears have removed him from their injury report after he logged a full practice participation on Saturday.

Minnesota Vikings injury report for Monday Night Football

The Minnesota Vikings, on Saturday, revealed that cornerback Stephon Gilmore is questionable for their Week 15 game against the Chicago Bears due to a hamstring injury.

However, he is the only player on the team's injury report carrying an injury designation into Week 15. Every other person on the injury report, including RB Aaron Jones (back), has been cleared to play tonight.

Stephon Gilmore injury update

Cornerback Stephon Gilmore hurt his hamstring in the second quarter of the Minnesota Vikings' Week 13 win over the Arizona Cardinals and missed out in Week 14 due to the injury.

Although Gilmore has not been ruled out for Week 15, it is unlikely that he will play given his inability to participate fully in any of the practices over the week. After recording his only limited participation on Saturday, the Vikings marked him as questionable to play on their final injury report.
