Brian Robinson Jr. injury update: Should fantasy managers be concerned for Commanders RB for Week 11 Fantasy Football?

RB Brian Robinson Jr.'s availability for the Washington Commanders's pivotal Thursday Night Football matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles is still uncertain.

Due to a hamstring injury, the standout running back has missed Washington's last two games and has not yet participated fully in practice this week. The injury reports made public on Monday and Tuesday were estimates because the team didn't actually practice but only conducted walkthroughs.

The team considered Brian Robinson to be a limited practice participant during their walkthroughs. However, if he can participate fully in practice on Wednesday, he might be able to avoid carrying an injury designation into the Week 11 game.

On Thursday night, the Commanders (7-3) will need all the assistance they can get as they take on the Philadelphia Eagles (7-2), a team that has won their recent five games in succession. The primetime game will decide which team leads the NFC East in Week 12.

Brian Robinson Jr. injury update: What happened to the Commanders' RB?

Due to a hamstring injury, Brian Robinson Jr. could not play in Washington Commanders's Week 9 and Week 10 contests against the New York Giants and Pittsburgh Steelers.

Since he practiced on a limited basis and was designated as questionable before the Week 9 game against the Giants, it was initially anticipated that he would not miss any games due to the injury. However, he was unexpectedly declared inactive just before kickoff.

Washington Commanders head coach Dan Quinn said that ruling Brian Robinson unavailable for that game wasn't a simple choice, but he wanted to choose the best course of action in the long run.

"We're going to choose the more difficult right over the easier wrong. There's still a lot of season for him to play,” Quinn said to reporters following the victory over the Giants.

Robinson was again declared inactive for the team's Week 10 matchup with Pittsburgh. He did not participate in the team's final practice on Friday, although he was limited in the Commanders' first two sessions that week. Quinn explained that despite the RB's utmost attempts to return as quickly as possible, the club didn't think he was fit yet.

If Robinson is not cleared for Thursday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, he will miss his fourth game of the season due to injuries. He was also held out against the Baltimore Ravens in Week 6 due to a knee ailment.
