Brittany Mahomes once slammed a hater blaming her pregnancy for Chiefs' Super Bowl loss
Brittany Mahomes has never shied away from sharing her opinion. Despite countless trolls and offensive comments, Brittany has consistently defended herself, the Kansas City Chiefs and her husband, Patrick Mahomes. Sometimes, however, people have linked Brittany herself to Mahomes' rare poor performances.
One of the most disappointing moments for Mahomes and the Chiefs was their 31-9 Super Bowl loss to Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brittany was cheering for Mahomes the whole time, which ultimately led to answering a few offensive tweets.
Right after the loss, people started connecting Brittany's pregnancy to Mahomes' game. This was the couple's first pregnancy, and the due date was after the Super Bowl.
"Mahomes got that girl pregnant and the ancestors immediately took away his powers. Smh," one user wrote.
Brittany was understandably a little offended at the suggestion:
"That girl. My name is Brittany. Maybe you have never been pregnant...and maybe one day you will be and you will realize what a blessing it is and maybe also rethink your words girl. Itās a shame women can be so hateful to other women."
A few fans came to Brittany's support, encouraging her not to let anyone get to her.
Brittany Mahomes recently slammed the Cincinnati Mayor for going too far with the Bengals-Chiefs rivalry
To secure their Super Bowl spot, the Chiefs had to beat the Cincinnati Bengals in the AFC Championship game. Before the game, however, Cincinnati mayor Aftab Pureval went a little too far with his trash talk.
He slammed everyone from the Chiefs to Mahomes, suggesting a paternity test for the star QB. He compared Mahomes to Joe Burrow, eventually receiving backlash for his views. Even Bengals fans were irked, letting him know that his jokes weren't funny.
Brittany Mahomes, of course, chimed in on the conversation herself.
"Things are getting a little weird out here," Brittany wrote in one tweet.
She even retweeted a post by Modern Family actor Eric Stonestreet, referring to the mayor as a 'dork' for his content.
With the Super Bowl approaching, one can only expect Brittany to be out there supporting the Chiefs. Barring a few games, the fitness trainer has always been present in the stands, even sharing her game day moments, sometimes with daughter Sterling.
The big Chiefs vs Philadelphia Eagles game is scheduled for February 12 at the State Farm Arena in Arizona.
