Cade Otton or Isaiah Likely MNF Start 'Em Sit 'Em picks for Week 7 Fantasy Football
Ladies and gentlemen, we officially have another Monday Night Football doubleheader, this time with two of the hottest offenses in the National Football League. The Baltimore Ravens will square off against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Raymond James Stadium tonight, with both teams cruising on the back of convincing wins in Week 6.
But juggernauts have a way of coming to a screeching halt in the National Football League. One of these teams will taste the bitter taste of defeat tonight despite having multiple heralded options on offense. So maybe it's time to take a closer look at some of their other picks so you can find an edge to exploit in your fantasy matchups to close the week.
Cade Otton fantasy outlook for Week 7
Otton has had a peculiar year so far. Through six games of football, it appears the Buccaneers are still pondering how to utilize their best tight end. Otton had a strong three-game stretch between Week 3 and Week 5, where his targets and receiving yards were up.
There was no end product, but you can't have it all. Then in Week 6, Otton failed to make the most of his six targets, hauling in just two of them for 15 yards. Still, the Bucs offense had a field day, beating the Saints 51-27 on a day where they could do little wrong.
Per FantasyPros, Otton has been the TE12 in fantasy over the past four weeks since we saw his targets increase. The Ravens have been liberal with blocking tight ends, so expect Otton to have a decent outing tonight.
Isaiah Likely fantasy outlook for Week 7
Welcome to the curious case of Isaiah Likely.
The Ravens' tight end had a breakout game in Week 1 when Mark Andrews was out injured but has since faded into the background. The Ravens appear more than happy to utilize all three of their tight ends, with Charlie Kolar also seeing some work in recent weeks.
Last week against the Commanders, Lamar Jackson preferred throwing to Andrews instead, but we know this Buccaneers defense isn't as liberal as Baltimore's when it comes to keeping tight ends in check.
Considering Likely still leads the team in red zone targets with six in all despite less than four targets in each game since Week 1, the upside isn't all that high here.
Cade Otton or Isaiah Likely: Final verdict
Sportskeeda's Start/Sit Optimizer is slightly higher on Likely this week but by a slender margin.
Tight end production has been difficult to come by this year, so don't expect Likely to have a big night. As a streaming tight end, though, the Ravens TE could be your savior to close out Week 7.
