Can Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets win a Super Bowl next season?

An Aaron Rodgers-led New York Jets squad would be good enough to win a lot of games next season, but could they win a Super Bowl?

Rodgers is still a member of the Green Bay Packers, as of right now. However, everyone expects the superstar quarterback to get traded to the Jets at some point this off-season.

Recently on The Pat McAfee Show, Rodgers revealed his intention to play for the Jets and stated that New York and Green Bay are working out trade compensation.

The Jets finished with a 7-10 record last season as they started three different quarterbacks: Zach Wilson — who has turned out to be a bust — Mike White, and Joe Flacco.

If the trade happens, the Jets should certainly improve next season with Rodgers under center. He's a major upgrade over any quarterback the team started in 2022. The four-time MVP is a future first-ballot Hall of Famer, and although he's 39 years old, he's still one of the best quarterbacks in the league presently.

The Jets' could have an explosive offense with Rodgers, running back Breece Hall — who's coming off an outstanding rookie year — and receivers Garrett Wilson and Elijah Moore. Plus, the team recently signed wideout Allen Lazard, who led the Packers in receiving yards last season while teaming up with Rodgers.

New York's defense is clearly one of the best in the league, led by Pro Bowlers Quinnen Williams, Sauce Gardner, and CJ Mosley.

The Jets possess the talent on both sides of the football needed to make a deep playoff run. But do they have enough firepower to win it all?

Doubts over Aaron Rodgers and New York Jets' ability to go all the way

Former Packers safety LeRoy Butler doesn't believe so. He told TMZ Sports that the Jets "ain't going to no Super Bowl" with Rodgers.

Butler is probably right. Winning a Super Bowl or even making it to the game next season will be extremely difficult for the Jets.

First off, their division, the AFC East, is really tough as they'll challenge great teams like the Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins.

Also, the AFC is simply loaded with the defending champions Kansas City Chiefs as well as the Buffalo Bills playing in the conference.

If Aaron Rodgers lands with the Jets, look for the team to definitely improve, but not hoist the Lombardi Trophy.
