Cincinnati Bengals vs. Cleveland Browns: Box score, players stats, and summary feat. Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase

The Cincinnati Bengals played against the Cleveland Browns in Week 16. Cincinnati came into this game with a record of 6-8 and was still alive in the race to the playoffs.

The Bengals need to win all their remaining games, and hope for results elsewhere to go in their favor to make the postseason. Quarterback Joe Burrow is playing the best football of his career, and the team has a real hope of turning around its season.

The Browns are 3-11, and their season is already over. They are competing to get a high draft pick next year and have also benched Jameis Winston in favor of Dorian Thompson-Robinson.

The Bengals led by 17-0 at halftime. Cleveland's defense tried to keep the game close in the second half, but Burrow's team managed to hold on and won their third straight game.

Bengals vs Browns summary

Cleveland Browns v Cincinnati Bengals - Source: Getty

Cleveland's struggles with the quarterback continued as second-year quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson failed to make an impact. He threw two interceptions and his performance proved that the team needs to draft a new quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft.

As for the Bengals, they did their job and have kept themselves in the hunt for the playoffs. Burrow once again played well and connected with all three of his primary receivers for touchdowns.

Cincinnati has games coming up against the Denver Broncos and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Although the chances of them making the playoffs are less, they will continue to fight till the last moment.

Burrow is having an MVP-esque season, and it will be quite good for the neutral fans to see him in the postseason. In 15 games this year, he has thrown for 4,229 yards, 39 touchdowns, and 8 interceptions with a passer rating of 108.5.

Ja'Marr Chase has crossed the 1,500 receiving yards mark for the season and became the first receiver in the Bengals' franchise history to achieve that. The best players on the Bengals have given their best this year, but unfortunately, it still might not be enough for them to get a chance of playing the games when they matter the most.
