Cleveland Browns vs Denver Broncos prediction and fantasy outlook feat. Jerry Jeudy and Bo Nix
Bo Nix's Denver Broncos and Jameis Winston's Cleveland Browns are both working through a surprising turn of events. In the big picture, few expected Denver to be in the driver's seat for a playoff position this year, but here they are. Meanwhile, not many expected Winston to outshine Russell Wilson in his last sighting.
Either way, one surprising team must fall on Monday Night Football. Here's a look at all things Browns vs Broncos.
Browns vs. Broncos prediction
The Denver Broncos are relevant in December for the first time in nearly a decade. Most of the players on the squad are entering new territory, so odd mistakes could occur at any time. It will be up to Sean Payton to keep his team's composure and hunger throughout the last month of 2024.
Meanwhile, the Browns are likely as confident as they have been all season after beating the Pittsburgh Steelers in primetime. As such, expect two waves to collide, resulting in a tight, low-scoring affair. The Broncos have the benefit of playing in their stadium but don't expect a shootout. The Broncos win 17-14.
Browns vs. Broncos fantasy outlook
The Broncos have three big options for fantasy managers this week. Bo Nix is having a top-ten scoring season in fantasy, putting him in line for another big day. Of course, as a rushing-style quarterback, don't expect huge numbers through the air. Still, he won't leave any but the most desperate managers wanting.
The Broncos also have a great shot to produce with their defense, which ranks in the top five in most leagues.
For the Cleveland Browns, Nick Chubb is most likely the best option. Jerry Jeudy, who has performed adequately in recent weeks, will meet his match against former teammate Patrick Surtain II, so he should be avoided this week. Surtain II has had plenty of practice against Jeudy when the two were in Denver, so don't expect the cornerback to see too many tricks he doesn't already know.
