Cowboys' Micah Parsons calls out NFL referees after series of questionable calls made during Wild Card round

Micah Parsons has called out NFL referees once again. After a slew of unpopular and questionable calls in the first portion of the NFL's Super Wild Card Weekend, the Defensive Player of the Year candidate took to Twitter to voice his frustrations.

Much of the NFL world has been displeased with refereeing this year, but especially Parsons. He feels like he has been victimized by poor officiating time and time again this season.

Lol Im glad everyone sees how bad officiating is this year! Idc what I say anymore it’s not like ima get a call lol

During yesterday's slate of games, which included a mind-boggling comeback win by the Jacksonville Jaguars, several questionable calls were made and the NFL world wasn't happy. Parsons seems to be the voice for those frustrated people today.

Who do Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys face in the Wild Card round?

If not for the Philadelphia Eagles' incredible 14-3 record, Micah Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys might have been the NFC East winners. Alas, they were relegated to a Wild Card spot even with a 12-5 record.

As a result, they face the fourth seed. In an ironic twist, this pits them against the division winner with the worst record- the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Tom Brady and company narrowly won the NFC South with an 8-9 record, but they will come in as a dangerous opponent for the Cowboys.

It's impossible to count out Brady in the playoffs and he's never lost to the Cowboys. He is 7-0 against Parsons' club in his illustrious NFL career. Will that dominance continue or will Parsons inflict his will on the Buccaneers?

What are the odds of Micah Parsons winning Defensive Player of the Year?

Parsons spent much of the season as the Defensive Player of the Year favorite, but a recent blitz by Nick Bosa of the San Francisco 49ers has reversed that.

Now, according to Sports Betting Dime, Bosa is the odds-on favorite:

  • Bosa -1200
  • Parsons +650
  • Maxx Crosby +10000
  • Myles Garrett +15000

Bosa and Parsons are head and shoulders above all other candidates, but it looks like Parsons will come up just short for the second consecutive season.
