Current NFL Draft order entering Week 7: Where Browns, Dolphins, Jaguars, Patriots stand
Heading into Week 7, four NFL teams have a 1-5 record and two teams are at 1-4. This means we are likely to see one of these six teams end up with the first overall pick in April next year when it's time to welcome the 2025 NFL draft class to the league.
As things stand, the Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots, Carolina Panthers and Jacksonville Jaguars are making a strong case to have the highest pick in the draft, whereas the Los Angeles Rams and Tennessee Titans are also in contention. So without further ado, here's a look at what the 2025 NFL draft order looks like.
Current 2025 NFL Draft order
After a simulation on our NFL Playoff Predictor, the Giants appear to have leapfrogged the rest of the pack to get the No. 1 overall pick. The simulation also has some hope vested in Deshaun Watson figuring things out sooner rather than later to pull the Browns away from a mighty losing record while they pay him a total of $230 million guaranteed.
Going by the strength of schedule and their current records, we are unlikely to see the Giants land the first overall pick, but all of the Panthers, Jaguars, Titans and Raiders might have a fair shot at that pick.

Who are the top prospects in the 2025 NFL draft?
We're well into the college football season so we have a little bit of information regarding which players will end up as top-10 picks.
Before the start of the season, Michigan cornerback Will Johnson, LSU tackle Will Campbell, Tennessee edge rusher James Pearce Jr. and Texans tackle Kelvin Banks were all highly-rated prospects.
But as we all know, the NFL is an offense-first league. The Patriots might land a top pick and use it to shore up their depth on the defensive end, but the Jags, Panthers, Titans and Raiders will need a QB or a WR higher up the draft.
Colorado duo Travis Hunter and Shedeur Sanders are both expected to be off the board with the top 10 picks while Miami's Cam Ward could also be a candidate.
Elsewhere, Boise State's Ashton Jeanty has made a case for himself over the past three weeks while Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan has also impressed.
