Denver Broncos Draft picks 2023: Full list of Broncos selections
The Denver Broncos were one of the few teams who didn't make a pick in the first round of the 2023 NFL draft. But they have clearly been aggressive in the trade market with the goal of entering the win-now mode and competing for a Super Bowl ring. While the strategy may work, it could come at the cost of future assets as they are extremely light in the 2023 NFL draft.

Denver Broncos Draft picks 2023: Round 1 and 2
No Picks
The Broncos' lack of draft picks in the first two rounds came as a result of their trade to acquire Russell Wilson from the Seattle Seahawks last offseason. The massive return package they sent back to Seattle in exchange for their superstar quarterback consisted of three players and five picks (including their first two selections in the 2023 NFL draft).
The Denver Broncos moved back into the first round when they acquired the San Francisco 49ers' 30th overall pick from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for Bradley Chubb. However, they no longer own that pick either. They instead used it in a trade with the New Orleans Saints to acquire head coach Sean Payton.
Denver Broncos Draft picks 2023: Round 2
Pick 63 overall - Marvin Mims Jr., WR, Oklahoma
While the Broncos didn't have a second-round pick in the draft, on Day 2, they traded picks with the Lions, sending their No. 68 (third round) & 139 (fifth round) to Detroit in exchange for pick No. 63 (second round) and No. 183 (sixth round). They drafted Marvin Mims Jr. WR from Oklahoma at 63 overall.
Denver Broncos Draft picks 2023: Round 3
Round 3, Pick 67 overall - Drew Sanders, LB, Arkansas
Pick 83 overall - Riley Moss, CB, Iowa
The Denver Broncos then drafted Drew Sanders, the linebacker from Alabama. The Broncos then traded up with the Seahawks, sending their No. 108 and a 2024 third-round pick to Seattle for pick No. 83 (round three). They drafted Riley Moss, the cornerback from IOWA, using this trade.
The Broncos needed a second CB to pair with Pat Surtain. Although Damarri Mathis played well, Sean Payton would want him better as a third-string CB. Denver addressed this with the selection of Riley Moss.
