1] Tyrone Tracy Jr., New York Giants

ESPN 68% | Yahoo! 69% | FAAB Range 50-100%

Last week, we had our fair share of high-implied valuable backups on the waiver wire to target. With no clear starter available under 70% owned, we recommended fantasy managers focus on premier handcuffs like Raheem Mostert, Zach Chabonnet, and Braelon Allen heading into Week 9.

As you see above, we're not messing around this week, as we will recommend spending the remainder of your FAAB on a familiar player featured here this season. Somehow, Tyrone Tracy Jr. dipped back in our targeting threshold, and you should be aggressive if he is still floating around in your fantasy leagues.

The explosive rookie out-touched veteran Devin Singletary 17 to 7 last week against Washington and 54 to 17 since Singletary returned to the lineup in Week 7. Tracy's 72% of the snaps on Sunday were the most when both backs were active this season. Finding an every-week starter at this point of the fantasy season is rare but not unprecedented. Now is not the time to hold on to your FAAB dollars, and Tracy is well worth the price heading into Week 10.

2] Rico Dowdle, Dallas Cowboys

ESPN 63% | Yahoo! 68% | FAAB Range 10-20%

The Dallas running game is one of the worst in fantasy football, but any starter in this game shouldn't be left on the waiver wire. Fantasy managers were surprised by Dowdle's illness that left him in street clothes before the Week 8 kickoff, but he reclaimed his role as the lead back last Sunday. Dowdle turned 17 touches into 107 total yards and a receiving touchdown for an overall RB9 finish against Atlanta.

Keep an eye out for the Cowboys' offense this week. We learned quarterback Dak Prescott will miss a considerable amount of time as he deals with a hamstring injury he sustained on Sunday. The question will be how the touches will be distributed with a backup quarterback on a struggling offense. Could Dowdle see increased usage with Cooper Rush as the new signal caller?

With Ezekiel Elliott skipping meetings and veteran Dalvin Cook past his prime, we should see plenty of Dowdle for the rest of the season. Talent and opportunity are a recipe for success for fantasy running backs, and there's no better option right now than Dowdle in Big D.

3] Jaylen Warren, Pittsburgh Steelers

ESPN 55% | Yahoo! 42% | FAAB Range 5-10%

It's been a tough season for Jaylen Warren. After suffering a knee injury in Week 3 against the Chargers, the third-year back has seen his ownership steadily decline in fantasy leagues. But that may have been a premature drop in a run-heavy offense like the Steelers'.

Pittsburgh will come into Sunday 5-3 overall and have handled their last three opponents. Playing tough defense and controlling the game through Najee Harris is a recipe for success for the Steelers. But there will be times when Pittsburgh will be in a positive game script this season, and Warren will benefit the most in those situations. That could begin this weekend when the Steelers travel to Washington D.C. to take on the upstart Commanders, and it has yet to face AFC North rivals Baltimore this season. If anything were to happen to Harris, Warren would instantly become a weekly RB2 play.

1] Cedric Tillman, Cleveland Browns

ESPN 48% | Yahoo! 58% | FAAB Range 25-50%

The Cleveland Browns own one of the worst trades in NFL history by acquiring Deshaun Watson from Houston for six draft selections, including its last three first-round picks. But it's the latest deal that might've unleashed Cedric Tillman as the primary pass catcher in Cleveland. Tillman has received a whopping 31 targets since trading away five-time Pro Bowler Amari Cooper to the Bills before Week 7 action.

As you can see, Tillman has the rare combination of size, speed, and athleticism that makes you wonder why he was buried on the depth chart in the first place. Paired with a gunslinger like Jameis Winston, Tillman should see plenty of opportunities down the field.

Winston brings an element that Watson failed to accomplish in his time with the Browns. Consider Tillman an every-week fantasy starter going forward. He should be owned regardless of format — especially with the Saints next on the schedule.

2] Jauan Jennings, San Francisco 49ers

ESPN 57% | Yahoo! 50% | FAAB Range 10-20%

The 49ers offense is finally getting healthy. San Francisco should return All-Pro Christian McCaffrey to the lineup for the first time this season. The dynamic back will get the headlines when he returns, but the 49ers should also be returning veteran Jauan Jennings after its Week 9 bye. The fourth-year receiver has been dealing with a groin injury that has kept him out of action since Week 7 and will instantly be an option in a fantasy-friendly offense in San Francisco.

Where Jennings lands in the pecking order remains to be seen. However, with McCaffrey potentially back in the fold, it could free up Jennings on single coverage stations, with stars Deebo Samuel and George Kittle deservedly drawing more attention in this offense.

Quarterback Brock Purdy is enjoying a solid year and is currently QB9 overall, with McCaffrey, Samuel, and Jennings missing significant time this season. Purdy lost receiver Brandon Aiyuk for the season but will have a pretty decent lineup available in Week 10. Try to get a piece of this offense while you still can.

3] Xavier Legette, Carolina Panthers

ESPN 33% | Yahoo! 27% | FAAB Range 5-10%

This is the time of year to find emerging rookies in fantasy football, and Xavier Legette is a player to take seriously as we get into the stretch run. For the second straight week, Legette has led the Panthers pass catchers in targets and will get more opportunities now that veteran Diontae Johnson was traded to Baltimore.

The volume will need to increase to be considered an every-week starter in fantasy leagues, but being proactive on the waiver wire is part of the game. Adam Thielen should return to the lineup in Week 10, but that shouldn't deter you from adding the talented rookie. However, Legette should get a favorable matchup against a poor pass defense in the New York Giants.

1] Taysom Hill, New Orleans Saints

ESPN 27% | Yahoo! 37% | FAAB Range 3-5%

It's time to fire up the unicorn again. The Saints have had one of the worst seasons in terms of injuries, and it continued last Sunday when they lost star Chris Olave to yet another concussion. Olave could miss significant time, leading to more usage for Hill.

Hill turned a team-high five targets into four catches and 41 yards and scored as a runner against the Panthers. It remains to be seen how Hill will be used as head coach Dennis Allen was fired after the Saints lost its seventh straight game last Sunday. But with the state of the tight end position, you can do worse than Hill in your lineup with four teams on bye in Week 10.

2] Hunter Henry, New England Patriots

ESPN 41% | Yahoo! 36% | FAAB Range 3-5%

The veteran tight end has been featured here for consecutive weeks but remains well below the 70% threshold this season. Since rookie Drake Maye made his regular season debut in Week 6, Henry has received 28 targets, the most by all pass catchers in that span. Henry turned eight targets in Week 9 into seven catches for 56 receiving yards.

As long as Maye keeps looking for Henry in the intermediate areas of the field, he should be considered a weekly streaming option against poor pass defenses going forward.
