Fantasy Football Week 9 Start 'Em Sit 'Em QBs feat. Matthew Stafford, Bo Nix, Daniel Jones, Aaron Rodgers

Quarterbacks are often the highest-scoring fantasy football players during each season. This means that it's extremely important for managers to pick the right ones for their starting lineups each week, or they may fail to optimize their final scores. Here are some of the best ones to target and fade in Week 9 of the 2024 season.

Matthew Stafford is among the best quarterbacks to target for Week 9 fantasy football lineups. He is also a bit of a sleeper pick, considering he currently ranks as just the QB22 overall this season. He has played most of the year without his top two wide receivers, Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua, but turned in a breakout QB5 finish with both of them back last week. He will look to build off that against the Seattle Seahawks this week.

Bo Nix is another intriguing quyarterback to use this week, especially as a cheap option for DFS lineups. He gets an ideal matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, who are currently allowing the most passing yards per game to their opponents this year. Nix has also been excellent for the Denver Broncos recently, ranking among the top 10 weekly quarterbacks in three of his past four games.

Aaron Rodgers continues to struggle in fantasy football this year, despite the New York Jets recently adding Davante Adams to their roster. He has finished as the QB14 or worse in each of his past five games and draws a tough Week 9 matchup against the Houston Texans defense. He should be avoided in fantasy lineups across all formats until he proves he can be more productive.

Daniel Jones joins him as another fade this week amid his disappointing skid across his past three games. He has finished outside of the top 20 weekly quarterbacks in all three of them after finishing as the QB11 or better in three of his four games before that. His dangerous floor makes him difficult to trust in starting lineups for Week 9 against the Washington Commanders.
