Fantasy Football Week 9 TEs Start 'Em picks
Cade Otton has been having a strong 2024 fantasy football season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and has also improved his output in recent weeks. He has finished among the top 15 weekly tight ends in five of his past six games, including top five finishes in each of his past two games. He is an elite Week 9 option against the Kansas City Chiefs, especially with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin out of the lineup.
Evan Engram missed four games for the Jacksonville Jagurs this year, but has been solid in three games since his return to the lineup. He has finished among the top 12 tight ends in two of those games and could see an increase to his workload this week against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Jaguars are dealing with injuries to their top three wide receivers, giving Engram a ton of upside.

Fantasy Football Week 9 TEs Sit 'Em picks
Isaiah Likely got off to a fast start to the 2024 fantasy football season with the Baltimore Ravens, finishing among the top four weekly tight ends twice in his first five games. Mark Andrews' struggles are a part of the reason why, but since his resurgence, Likely has finished outside of the top 25 tight ends in each of his past three games. He is a clear fade in Week 9 against an elite Denver Broncos defense.
Jonnu Smith saw a boost to his fantasy value while Tua Tagovailoa was injured, finishing among the top 15 weekly tight ends in three of those five games. In two games that Tagovailoa has completed for the Miami Dolphins this year, Smith has finished as the TE34 and TE40. This means that he should be avoided in Week 9 when he faces off against the Buffalo Bills.
