FIRST EDITION: NFL DRAFT BIG BOARD
With the NFL season officially at its mid-point, we should look at what incoming NFL draft prospects can impact the future of organizations across the league. Here is my current 2023 NFL Draft Big Board:

TIER ONE:
1) Will Anderson Jr. (JR.), Alabama Crimson Tide - DE/OLB
2) CJ Stroud (SO.), Ohio State Buckeyes - QB
3) Bryce Young (JR.), Alabama Crimson Tide - QB
4) Jalen Carter (JR.), Georgia Bulldogs - DT
I am leaving the top tier at four prospects, subject to change. CJ Stroud and Bryce Young remain 1A and 1B at the QB position for me. Will Anderson Jr. is an offensive wrecking machine. Jalen Carter causes several problems for the interior of the opposition's offensive line.

This tier is where the strengths of the 2023 NFL Draft class come into focus. The good news for NFL teams is the strengths of this class remain at the most impactful positions: OT, CB, WR, and edge.

TIER THREE:
23) Gervon Dexter Sr. (JR.), Florida Gators - DT
24) Kayshon Boutte (JR.), LSU Tigers - WR
25) Andre Carter II (SR.), Army Black Knights - DE/OLB
26) Anthony Richardon (SO.), Florida Gators - QB

32) Derick Hall (SR.), Auburn Tigers - DE
33) Brian Branch (JR.), Alabama Crimson Tide - DB
34) Jordan Battle (SR.), Alabama Crimson Tide - DB
The 2023 NFL Draft class is strong at the RB position. For me, three current backs could lay claim to first-round value.

48) Jalin Hyatt (JR.), Tennessee Volunteers - WR
49) Hendon Hooker (SR.), Tennessee Volunteers - QB
50) Brandon Joseph (JR.), Notre Dame Fighting Irish - S
The TE and S positions are undervalued in NFL Draft circles. At TE, there are a couple of high-end prospects worthy of first-round consideration. The S position is deep with all shapes and sizes, from single-high safety to box safety prospects.
