Another memorable game came in Week 6 against the Seattle Seahawks. Davis rushed for 208 yards and a touchdown in a 21-16 victory. The following week, he rushed for 136 yards and three touchdowns in a victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Over the course of the season, Davis rushed for over 100 yards in 11 of the 16 games.

Davis continued to dominate in the postseason, rushing for 199 yards and two touchdowns in the divisional round against the Miami Dolphins. Then in the AFC championship game against the New York Jets, Davis rushed for 167 yards and one touchdown, leading the Broncos to a 23-10 victory and securing a spot in Super Bowl XXXIII.
