Have any brothers ever faced off against each other in the Super Bowl? Kelce brothers looking to make history
As the divisional round of the playoffs concluded last weekend in the NFL, there are four teams that remain in the race for the Super Bowl and both the Kelce brothers' teams are still alive.
Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the Jacksonville Jaguars 27-20 this weekend in the divisional round to advance to the AFC Championship.
Jason Kelce and the Philadelphia Eagles beat their division-foe, the New York Giants, 38-7 in the divisional round to advance to the NFC Championship.
Kansas City will host the Cincinnati Bengals while the Eagles will host the San Francico 49ers. If both brother's teams are victorious in the conference championships, they will become the first pair of brothers to play against one another in the Super Bowl.
Of course, they wouldn't line up and go against each other as both of them play on offense.
Each team is the number one seed in their respective conferences and has a real chance at winning this weekend, which would set up an interesting family matchup. Both Kelce's are Super Bowl champions and they're each looking for their second championship.
If the two met in the Super Bowl, it wouldn't be the first time family has met and competed against each other in the Super Bowl.
In 2013 John Harbaugh and Jim Harbuagh coached against each other in the Super Bowl known as, "The Harbaugh Bowl"
During the 2013 Super Bowl between the Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers, brothers, John Harbuagh and Jim Harbuagh met in the Super Bowl.
This was the first time in NFL history where brothers coached against one another in the championship game.
The game resulted in a 34-31 victory for the Ravens and John Harbaugh.
The 49ers entered the game seeking their sixth Super-Bowl victory as the Ravens won their second Super Bowl in franchise history.
Both Kelce's would love a shot at competing against one another in the Super Bowl, and the winner would have bragging rights for years.
