IN PHOTOS: Carolina Panthers HC Frank Reich checks into new $3.45 million mansion in Charlotte

After being dismissed by the Indianapolis Colts during the 2022 NFL season, Frank Reich was hired by the Carolina Panthers as their new head coach.

Now that he has assembled his coaching staff, Reich is ready to put down roots in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Reich recently purchased a new home for $3.4 million in the exclusive Foxcroft neighborhood in Charlotte.

Frank and his wife Linda closed on the 5,255 square foot home this week. The four-bedroom, five-and-a-half-bathroom home features classic indoor and outdoor living.

The traditional white brick home was designed by Charlotte designer Greg Perry and features a covered veranda and fire pit for spring and summer nights outside. The home has a chef's kitchen and blue stoned floors throughout. Several indoor fireplaces feature throughout the property.

The home is located just outside the downtown Charlotte scene and includes high-end restaurants and shops. It is about five miles from the Bank of America Stadium, where the Carolina Panthers play.

How long has Frank Reich been a coach in the NFL?

Frank Reich played quarterback in the National Football League from 1985 until 1998. He then retired from the game as a player and turned his sights to coaching.

He started with the Colts, first as a coaching intern in 2006. He was next an offensive coaching staff assistant, then a quarterbacks coach and finally a wide receivers coach. He was hired by the Arizona Cardinals as the wide receivers coach in 2012.

In 2013, Reich was hired by the San Diego Chargers to be the quarterbacks coach and was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2014. He held this position through to the end of the 2015 season.

Reich was then hired by the Philadelphia Eagles to be the team's offensive coordinator in 2016. There, he helped lead them to a Super Bowl LII win over the New England Patriots.

Indianapolis hired him to be their head coach in 2018, his first ever opportunity at the position. After starting the 2022 season with a 3-5-1 record, the Colts decided to part ways. Reich's record as the Colts' head coach was 40-33-1.

Frank Reich was hired by the Carolina Panthers to be their new head coach in January 2023. It will be interesting to see how he does with the franchise.
