IN PHOTOS: Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes go on wild Vegas spree with The Chainsmokers as Super Bowl partying still goes strong
Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce led the Kansas City Chiefs to their second Super Bowl victory in four seasons earlier this month.
While there was a parade in Kansas City, the party was far from over for both Mahomes and Kelce. The Chiefs quarterback and tight end were spotted partying in Vegas, still living it up weeks after the game.
The party featured the talented musical duo The Chainsmokers as the two-time NFL MVP was near their DJ booth:
Not to be outdone, the four-time All-Pro tight end was clearly enjoying himself with the Vegas crowd:
After the champagne shower, Kelce found himself with the Chainsmokers:
Eventually, both players found themselves reunited at the party:
In Super Bowl LVII versus the Philadelphia Eagles, Patrick Mahomes went 21 of 27 passing for 182 yards and three touchdowns. The quarterback would go on to win Super Bowl LVII MVP honors. Mahomes is the sixth quarterback in NFL history to win the award multiple times.
Travis Kelce caught six passes for 81 yards and a touchdown in the game, his 16th career touchdown in the playoffs for a tight end. He surpassed Rob Gronkowski (15) for the most all-time in NFL postseason history.
Since the 2019 season, the Chiefs have been one of the most dominant teams in the NFL thanks to Mahomes and Kelce.
The success of the Chiefs with Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce
As previously mentioned, Patrick Mahomes is now a two-time NFL MVP after winning the award for his performance last season. Since the 2019 season, he has arguably been the best quarterback in the NFL.
The former Texas Tech star has thrown for 18,860 yards, 142 touchdowns, and 36 interceptions in that stretch. It is the most yards and touchdowns by any quarterback since the 2019 season.
For Kelce, a case could be made that he has been the top tight end in the NFL since the 2019 season. The eight-time Pro Bowler has 404 receptions, 5,180 yards, and 37 touchdowns in that stretch. He has the most yards, receptions, and touchdowns among tight ends since then.
The Chiefs are seen as favorites to win the Super Bowl next season. Patrick Mahomes and Kelce could get "closer" to being the best duo in NFL history should Kansas City win it all in the 2023 season.
