CeeDee Lamb's Dallas Cowboys have plenty of experience playing on Thanksgiving, as they play just about every year. That said, facing a frisky Las Vegas Raiders squad with their backs against the wall, the Cowboys will need all hands on deck.

Considering their own offensive struggles in recent weeks, the 'boys will need everyone out wide they can.

Will CeeDee Lamb be able to play just four days after his injury?

Will CeeDee Lamb play on Thanksgiving?

According to Ari Meirov, per NFL insider Jay Glazer, CeeDee Lamb is out for today's game against the Raiders. Lamb did not pass the last step of the concussion protocol.

This means the Cowboys will be without starting receivers Lamb and Amari Cooper.

#Cowboys WR CeeDee Lamb was not able to pass the final steps of concussion protocol and will not play today vs. Las Vegas, per @JayGlazer. Dallas down Amari Cooper and Lamb.

Lamb suffered a concussion in a painful loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday.

How some Cowboys currently rank in NFC Pro Bowl fan voting at their respective position (offense)

QB Dak Prescott, 3
RB Ezekiel Elliott, 1
WR CeeDee Lamb, 5
WR Amari Cooper, 6
TE Dalton Schultz, 4
G Zack Martin, 1
C Tyler Biadasz, 1
T Tyron Smith, 3

Without Lamb and Cooper, the Cowboys may look to go back to what made them a contender in the first place...running behind a bruising offensive line with Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard.

When Elliott was selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, the Cowboys were seen as starting from the ground up and re-tooling their offense. In the years prior, the team had an identity based on the passing game with quarterback Tony Romo and former All-Pro receiver Dez Bryant.

The team also had future Hall of Fame tight end Jason Witten manning the middle of the field.

Ironically, current quarterback Dak Prescott was selected in the same draft as Elliott but in the fourth round.

When the Cowboys take on the Las Vegas Raiders today, they will likely look to pound the ball into the teeth of the Raiders' defense. If and when they do elect to pass, look for Michael Gallup and tight end Dalton Schultz to play critical roles as backup receiver Noah Brown had a rather tough outing against the Chiefs just this past Sunday.

Cowboys VP Stephen Jones said on @1053thefan that CeeDee Lamb (concussion protocol) is “doing really well” and will have an opportunity to play Thursday. “If he were having issues today then you’d probably be a little leery.” But they’re optimistic because he’s feeling well today

The Cowboys will miss the production of CeeDee Lamb

As a rookie last season, CeeDee Lamb was nearly a 1,000-yard receiver, earning 935 yards and five touchdowns. This season, Lamb has a shot at being even more productive.

Through ten games, Lamb has 50 receptions for 740 yards and six touchdowns.

If Lamb misses this week, it seems he will certainly be back for the next game. As such, the Cowboys could get both Cooper and Lamb back at the same time, giving the Cowboys' offense a much-needed boost for the final third of the season.
