Is Zay Flowers playing today? Latest on Ravens WR's injury status for Week 8 vs Browns
The 5-2 Baltimore Ravens are firmly atop a very competitive AFC North and will look to keep their stranglehold over the division going when they face off against the one-win Cleveland Browns this afternoon. The Ravens are on a roll this season with Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry putting the league on notice early on. However, they were made to sweat over the fitness of lead receiver Zay Flowers heading into this Week 8 matchup.
Flowers was a DNP on consecutive days to start the week, prompting even more concern about his availability against Cleveland. ESPN insider Adam Schefter reported a major development for the Ravens on Saturday night, adding that Flowers is expected to take the field this afternoon.
Is Zay Flowers playing today vs the Cleveland Browns?
Since Flowers is listed as questionable on the Ravens injury report, concerns were valid over his availability. However, Flowers appears to have shaken off those concerns after suiting up as a limited participant in practice on Friday.
Per multiple reports, Flowers is now expected to get the green light to face the Browns.

The running back duo of Rasheed Ali (ankle) and Keaton Mitchell (knee) will play no part in the proceedings against the Browns after racking up DNPs all week.
Star corner Nate Wiggins is also a concern because of an illness and a shoulder issue whereas fellow corner Marlon Humphreys is officially a doubt with a knee injury. Linebacker Malik Harrison was a DNP on Wednesday with a groin injury but since he was a full participant in practice the next two days, he is expected to take the field against the Browns.
Over on the Browns' side of things, Deshaun Watson was ruled out after suffering an Achilles injury in Week 7. He will miss the rest of the season. Running back Jerome Ford is out with a hamstring injury but QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson is expected to be fit in time. OT Jedrick Willis (knee) and linebacker Jordan Hicks (elbow, triceps) are both out of Week 8.
