Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cleveland Browns: Box score, players stats and summary feat. Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce

The Kansas City Chiefs play against the Cleveland Browns in Week 15. Patrick Mahomes and his team are 12-1 on the season, the joint-best record in the league.

Cleveland, on the other hand, is 3-10, and this has been a big disappointment for them. However, the team has looked much more entertaining with Jameis Winston, who stepped up after Deshaun Watson's injury.

The Browns have already defeated the likes of the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers this season. Therefore, it shouldn't come as a surprise if the Browns manage to secure a win over the Chiefs.

Kansas City has failed to win games convincingly throughout the year, so it will be interesting to see how they perform against an extremely unpredictable quarterback like Winston.

The Chiefs led by 14-0 at halftime against the Browns and ended up winning 21-7 on the back of a great defensive performance.

Chiefs vs Browns summary

The Chiefs finally won a game in a dominant way, cruised past the Browns. The defending Super Bowl champions' defense had not been performing at its best in the past few weeks, but it showed up against Cleveland.

The Chiefs' defense had six takeaways in Week 15 and made the job a lot easier for the offense. Patrick Mahomes did not have a good game, as he completed only 50% of his throws but didn't throw any interceptions.

Mahomes did not get sacked even once against the Browns, but he suffered an ankle injury in the fourth quarter. The Chiefs quarterback did not return to play as Carson Wentz finished the game for Kansas City. However, the two-time NFL MVP walked without any visible pain after the game and should be ready to play the Houston Texans next week.

The Chiefs are now 13-1 and have taken another step to securing the first seed in the AFC. As for the Browns, it's no secret that they need to draft a quarterback as Jameis Winston is not the answer. Nobody knows what the franchise will do with Deshaun Watson, but based on their record, the AFC North team will be in a position to get a high caliber quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft.
