“Let me find out you on PEDs” – When Skip Bayless had to deal with wild accusation
Skip Bayless is one of the most well-known sports personalities in the world and part of his personality is his humor.
He's known for his rants, his passionate love for the Cowboys, and for always being right... or at least in his eyes.
Four years ago, the host of Undisputed joined comedian Kevin Hart on the LOL Network for a quick chat in an ice bath during an episode of "Cold As Balls."
As soon as the video began, the comedy kicked in. Hart was fascinated by Bayless' physique as soon as he took his robe off entering the ice bath.
Hart accused (jokingly) of Skip being on PEDs.
Here is their conversation in the opening scene:
Hart said:
"I'm good man, woah, what's happening Skip?"
Skip:
"You sure you want me to take this off?"
Hart:
"Yeah Skip, we gotta get in the cold tub, of course I do. What the fu** is going on here?
Skip:
"Kevin, I thought you were in shape, man?"
Hart:
"Skip, let me find out you on some god damn PEDs or something. I could have you checked, god dammit Skip."
Kevin Hart asked why Skip Bayless chose the career he chose in the same interview
In the same interview, Hart asked Skip Bayless what made him get into sports journalism.
Bayless answered:
"Frustrated high school athlete first day of my sophomore year my journalism teacher said I want you to write me a one page book report so I can see if any of you can write.
"I've never tried to write in my life. So, of course, I chose a sports book I handed it in and she said, 'You are coming in to journalism. You're gonna write me a sports column.' I actually ripped my high school baseball coach in a coulmn in the paper while I was playing on the team."
Throughout his journalism career, Bayless has worked in print media, radio, television, and films.
In 2008, he was selected to the Oklahoma City Wall of Fame. In 2009, he was inducted as one of the five members of the inaugural class of the Vanderbilt Student Media Hall of Fame.
Skip Bayless is one of the most popular sports journalists in the world.
