MNF Buccaneers vs. Chiefs Week 9 Fantasy Football Start 'Em Sit 'Em picks feat. Travis Kelce, Cade Otton, DeAndre Hopkins
Week 9 of the 2024 fantasy football season concludes with a Monday Night Football matchup between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs. Both teams have been dealing with significant injuries to their offensive weapons this year, but have still produced legitimate lineup options. Here are some of the best ones to target and fade from this game.
Buccaneers vs Chiefs MNF Fantasy Football Week 9 Start 'Em picks
Travis Kelce got off to an uncharacteristically slow start to the 2024 fantasy football season with the Kansas City Chiefs. He has finished among the top three tight ends in each of the past eight consecutive seasons, but finished outside of the top 15 tight ends in his first three games this year.
The Chiefs superstar has bounced back in recent weeks, finishing among the top seven tight ends in three of the past four weeks. He will look to keep it rolling in a favorable matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' struggling pass defense.
He is joined by Cade Otton, the starting tight end on the other side. He has finished among the top 12 weekly tight ends in three of his past four games, including an impressive TE1 finish last week. He has excelled with Mike Evans and Chris Godwin out of the lineup and will look to do so again in Week 9 fantasy football against the Chiefs.

Buccaneers vs Chiefs MNF Fantasy Football Week 9 Sit 'Em picks
Sportskeeda's Who Should I Start tool recommends avoiding DeAndre Hopkins in Week 9 fantasy football lineups, despite having a favorable matchup against the Buccaneers. He made his Chiefs debut last week, but was unimpressive with just two receptions for 29 yards. He should be faded until he proves he can serve a larger role with his new team.
Sterling Shepard is another fade this week, despite his elevated role with Evans and Godwin out of the lineup. The target hierarchy is undefined for the Buccaneers in their absence and they also get a challenging matchup against the Chiefs' elite passing defense. Shepard has totaled just 33 yards across the past two weeks, so he is better off left on the bench.
