Joe Burrow addresses home burglary during Bengals-Cowboys game

On Monday night, Joe Burrow became the latest NFL star to have his home broken into and burgled while he was busy on the field leading his team. The quarterback's home in Anderson Township, Ohio, was ransacked during the Cincinnati Bengals' "Monday Night Football" clash against the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

In addition to the report about the burglary, news broke that Sports Illustrated model Olivia Ponton called law officials to inform them that Burrow's house had been broken into.

Her presence at Burrow's residence became the main story, and the quarterback voiced his frustration about it during his media availability on Wednesday. He told reporters:

"I feel like my privacy has been violated in more ways than one, and way more is out there than I would want out there and that I want to share. ...
"We live a public life, and one of my least favorite parts of that is the lack of privacy, and that has been difficult to deal with my whole career. I'm still learning, but I understand it's the life we choose. It doesn't make it any easier to deal with."

Is Joe Burrow dating Olivia Ponton?

According to reports, Olivia Ponton arrived at Joe Burrow's mansion and noticed that a window was broken and the place had been ransacked. She called 911 to report the burglary and informed her mother, Diane, who also called authorities and told them that her daughter was at the crime scene.

Ponton's presence at the Bengals star's residence prompted speculation about whether the two were dating. However, the model told the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office that she was Burrow's employee. It's unclear what that entails and the quarterback or Ponton aren't keen on explaining the nature of their relationship.

Burrow had been dating Olivia Holzmacher, whom he met during his time at Ohio State University. There were rumors that the couple was engaged, but they haven't been spotted together in months, prompting speculation that they have parted ways.

Burrow made it clear that he won't answer any questions about why Ponton was at his house, as it was a personal matter and he doesn't intend to divulge details about it.
