49ers star George Kittle recalls ‘wild experience’ at Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo's star-studded Rhode Island wedding
Last month, San Francisco 49ers star Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo exchanged vows in a star-studded wedding in Rhode Island. The ceremony welcomed McCaffrey's teammates, including 49ers tight end George Kittle and his wife Claire.
In an interview with NBC Sports Bay Area earlier this week, Kittle recalled his experience at the couple's Rhode Island wedding:
"[I’ve] never been to Rhode Island. I don’t know anyone from Rhode Island except for Olivia and her family, so it was kind of cool to meet other people from Rhode Island. It was kind of wild, too, because she’s really famous, and so, having the amount of police officers that were around and security and stuff.
"And people from Rhode Island just standing there on the corners with photographers and paparazzi stuff, that was a wild experience for me but overall, a beautiful wedding, everyone there is incredible, so much fun, hopefully, they have another one just for fun and invite me again."
Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony attended by friends and family at Watch Hill Chapel, Rhode Island. Later, the couple organized a lavish wedding reception at Ocean House Resort. Apart from Kittles, Kyle Juszczyk and his wife Kristin attended the Rhode Island wedding.
Christian McCaffrey's vows got everyone teary during Rhode Island wedding
For a couple, wedding vows can be very special. According to PEOPLE, Olivia Culpo mentioned how Christian McCaffrey’s vows got everyone teary at the wedding:
"There wasn't a dry eye in the house when [McCaffrey] said his vows."
Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo's wedding was quite interesting compared to a typical wedding. The wedding ceremony followed a no-phones policy, which everyone loved, making the event more memorable for attendees.
Olivia Culpo chose a custom-designed Dolce & Gabbana gown for her wedding day. In an interview with Vogue last month, Culpo explained why she went with a simple, elegant gown:
“I didn't want it to exude sex in any way, shape, or form. I wanted it to feel effortless and as if it’s complimenting me, not overpowering me. There’s so much beauty and simplicity."
However, Olivia Culpo received some criticism for her wedding gown and minimalistic makeup look. When an Instagram influencer called out Culpo, her husband came forward to take a stand for her.
