49ers star Kyle Juszczyk highlights Taylor Swift's influence on boosting wife Kristin's career
San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk’s wife, Kristin Juszczyk, has received an influx of client requests since being endorsed by Taylor Swift earlier this year. Juszczyk emphasized the impact of Swift’s influence and the boost Kristin received, in an interview with the NY Post.
Kristin, a fashion designer, created custom puffer jackets for Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes. These NFL-inspired jackets were worn by both women during a wild-card game between the 49ers and the Chiefs last January. Swift sported a jacket with Kelce’s name on it, while Mrs. Mahomes wore one with Patrick Mahomes’ name. Fans can find the photo on Brittany’s Instagram account.
Kyle Juszczyk is proud of Kristin's growth
Acknowledging Swift's influence, Kyle said,
“It seems like it’s overnight, but she has been doing this for years. It was kind of that one thing that made everyone else notice. She [Kristin] always says it’s matching preparation with luck. She was very well prepared for that moment and very lucky to get that jacket into Taylor Swift’s hands for such a big game where all eyes were on her. We’re so fortunate for [Swift] and that it worked out that way.”
As a supportive husband, Juszczyk is thrilled for his wife’s success. He added,
“All I want her to do is succeed and be happy. And it’s been so awesome for her to really take off in this fashion endeavor.”
Juszczyk further shared that Kristin’s reach has grown significantly, with more clients seeking her custom-made apparel. Kristin’s social media following also soared, reaching a million followers on Instagram the following month.
More celebrities endorse Kristin's work
With this fame, more celebrities like legendary Olympian Simone Biles, actor Taylor Lautner, and Kyle’s teammate Deebo Samuel have become her clients. Kristin even designed Super Bowl 58 puffer jackets for singers Kelly Clarkson and Gwen Stefani. Both took to social media to express their excitement about Kristin’s work.
Kristin achieved this success partly due to a merchandising deal with the NFL, allowing her to release her first NFL-related item to the public—a Super Bowl 58 puffer vest, which Clarkson purchased. Another item was auctioned for $22,000, with proceeds going to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
