Aaron Rodgers' 17-point loss vs. Jets was largest in QB's career at Lambeau FieldĀ

Aaron Rodgers has lost to both New York football teams over the last two weeks. In Week 5, he lost to the New York Giants in London. In Week 6, he lost to the New York Jets at home at Lambeau Field. The Week 5 loss against the Giants was tough to swallow for Packers fans, but Week 6 has made them even more sick.

Now, with the heat of the moment over, pundits are listing out stats underlining just how bad of a loss the Packers suffered on Sunday. Speaking on Kyle Brandt's Basement, NFL analyst Kyle Brandt listed two key stats that went against the quarterback.

Aaron Rodgers lost at home for the first time in 16 games.

Tom Brady lost to the Steelers for just the 4th time in 16 games.

Lamar Jackson lost to an NFC team for the first time ever.

An unpredictable Sunday already.

The first stat was that the team has scored 107 points over the course of their last six games this year. In any six-game span, it was the fewest points scored in No. 12's career. Going back to 2005, he had never been a part of such a stagnant scoring offense.

Aaron Rodgers is playing like a QB who publicly feuded with his team, choked in the playoffs before mulling retirement, didn't believe he could help the team by coming to spring ball, and then spent the summer doing more podcasts than me.

But no, I can't figure it out either.

Brandt's other point was that, according to the NFL on CBS, the team's 17-point loss to the Jets on Sunday tied the largest victory of any opponent in a game that the quarterback played and finished. In other words, it has been as ugly as it has ever been since September and it reached a flashpoint on Sunday.

It is clear that the team has found it tough to get the offense moving, but how has the quarterback coped? Overall, he's managed an implosion that often accompanies sluggish offenses. If one were to simply look at Aaron Rodgers' statistics this year, one may believe the offense was far from the worst of his career.

In six games, the quarterback has thrown less than two touchdowns twice. In only one game, his Week 1 debut, has he thrown more interceptions than touchdowns. In total, he has thrown for nine touchdowns and three interceptions, earning 1,403 yards in the air.

If one compares Rodgers' current pace to his past seasons, many would argue there is a decline underway. In 2020, he threw for 48 touchdowns and five interceptions. In 2021, he threw for 37 touchdowns and four interceptions. In 2022, if he keeps his current pace, he will throw for 27 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
