Aaron Rodgers claims teammates spotted mysterious New Jersey drones

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers revealed he was trying to spot drones flying around New Jersey. The four-time NFL MVP has never been shy when it comes to unique topics, and drones have added to the list of suspicious things he's discussed during his career.

During a Tuesday appearance on the "Pat McAfee Show," Rodgers said that he was trying to see whether drones would appear in his window while he talked with the show hosts.

"I'm looking, I'm my living room right now 'cause I get a look at the skyline here and just make sure there's no drones coming up," Rodgers said.

What followed was an interesting exchange between the quarterback and the former punter. Rodgers said that some of his teammates had spotted drones.

"I haven't, but I talked to some teammates, who I'll keep nameless at this point, and they've seen them," Rodgers said.

Host Pat McAfee asked what are these drones doing, and Rodgers responded:

"Hanging out, dropping some McDonald's off, you know, just different different things, different tasks."

This isn't the first time Rodgers has talked about this phenomenon. The veteran quarterback speculated last week whether Donald Trump or Jets owner Woody Johnson had something to do with that, suggesting they might be flying their aircraft.

“I’m thinking about having a Friday night 5-E experience,” Rodgers said, adding, “You have a big kind of meditation circle and then you call in the aliens and you use little green lasers to bring them in.”

Davante Adams reacts to Aaron Rodgers' theories about drones

Despite having a close relationship with Rodgers, star wide receiver Davante Adams isn't so fond of the quarterback's theories regarding aliens and other supernatural explanations for whatever is happening in the New Jersey skyline.

Kay Adams asked Davante about Rodgers' talks about drones, to which the player responded:

“Honestly, I think they're coming to pick him up and take him back home.”

The Adams-Rodgers connection didn't work out in New Jersey, as the Jets failed to make a run for the playoffs. Like this week, they've been on the news for off-field stuff rather than in-game things.

The Jets will face the LA Rams, Buffalo Bills, and Miami Dolphins to close out the season before entering a key offseason where several questions will need to be answered.
