Wonder how Aaron Rodgers' darkness retreat looks like? Inside view of Sky Cave Retreats in Oregon
Aaron Rodgers revealed on The Pat McAfee Show that he was entering a period of total isolation which he coined as a darkness retreat. The Green Bay Packers quarterback said that he was going to spend four days and four nights in complete darkness and silence.
He further went on to mention that this was in a bid to clear his mind and likely come to a decision about his NFL future. Three days into this retreat, Rodgers has been spotted out in the open again.
But what exactly was this darkness retreat like? Reports suggested that the retreat, named Sky Cave, is located in southern Oregon. The establishment's owner, Scott Berman, confirmed that Rodgers completed his retreat on Wednesday.
Now, images of this establishment have emerged. The QB's accommodation was a 300-square-foot room partially built underground. The room in which the QB spent his three days in isolation featured a queen-sized bed, a bathroom, and a meditation mat. Meals were provided to him through a window in the door.
Aaron Rodgers to remain a Packer in 2023 NFL season
There has been growing speculation over where Aaron Rodgers will be playing next season. Multiple reports have claimed that the QB will be headed to New York to suit up for the Jets. But according to NFL insider Jeff Darlington, the Packers veteran will likely return to Lambeau for the 2023 NFL season. While featuring on Get Up, Darlington aired his input:
“A conversation I had with a very important Green Bay Packers source, who quite honestly believes that he will be back with the Packers. ... All of this is being overhyped."
"He looks at the contract that Aaron signed last year, the commitment he gave to the team. [He] believes at the end of the day, #12 will be back with the Packers.”
Many touted Jordan Love to take over as the team's new QB1 if A-Rod were indeed to leave the franchise in 2023. But the chances of it honestly seem slim to none.
