Aaron Rodgers drops F-bomb response on viral rumors of rift with Jets HC Robert Saleh

Aaron Rodgers responded to the rumors suggesting his relationship with New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh isn't the best. Following a complex game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday, Rodgers didn't look very happy with the development of the game and seemingly threw shade at Saleh.

During a Tuesday appearance on the "Pat McAfee Show," Rodgers shot down the notion that he had issues with Saleh, making it clear that he has a good relationship with him.

"There's, there's always going to be messaging and narratives out there. And you have two choices. You can ride the wave, really a roller coaster, or you can say, F**k it. I don't care. And I'm the latter. You know, I don't get into what the conversation is going on outside the building around myself, the relationships that I have, the most important ones are looking a guy in the eye in a locker room or in a meeting room, and knowing, you know, he's got your back, you get his back.
"Rob and I have a great relationship. We have since day one, when I got here. You know, we have, you know, text message conversations, threads that were in conversations about a number of different topics outside of football, had a good friendship. We got a good friendship," Rodgers said.

What's going on between Aaron Rodgers, Robert Saleh?

The 2024 NFL season hasn't been free of drama for the Jets, especially when it comes to their quarterback and head coach.

During the Week 3 win against the New England Patriots, Aaron Rodgers was caught pushing Robert Saleh away, sparking speculation among fans about the state of their relationship.

More recently, in the aftermath of the Broncos game, Saleh said that perhaps Rodgers' cadence needed changes.

“We’ve got to figure it out, whether or not we’re good enough or ready to handle all the cadence,” Saleh told reporters. “Cadence had not been an issue all [training] camp. Felt like our operation had been operating pretty good. Obviously, today it took a major step back.”

The four-time NFL MVP didn't appear to like this idea, having a short but clear response.

“That’s one way to do it. The other way is to hold them accountable.”

The Jets will travel to London to face the undefeated Minnesota Vikings in Week 5 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Aaron Rodgers is dealing with knee issues that could put his participation in jeopardy.
