“Like a pig in s**t” – Aaron Rodgers makes bizarre claim about Packers fans' misery after three straight losses

Aaron Rodgers is never afraid to speak his mind, even about his fanbase. In his weekly appearance on The Pat McAfee Show, the Green Bay Packers quarterback addressed Packers fans after three straight losses. McAfee specifically asked the four-time NFL MVP about the fans' possible frustration with the team thus far.

Rodgers said:

“They can say whatever they want. Nothing’s gonna sway that opinion. I can come on here and extol the virtues of my team and the hope for the future and the excitement about the present. But I think people who are bitter and angry, they kinda wanna sit in that, wallow in it a little bit if you will. Like a pig in s**t, you know? Just kinda enjoy it for a little bit. Just kinda let that wash all over 'em, till they’re ready to get washed off.”
What's the mindset right now Aaron?

The Packers are currently tied for second place in the NFC North with a 3-4 record. Green Bay's three straight losses came after their Week 4 victory over the New England Patriots. In Week 5, Rodgers and the Packers lost to the New York Giants in London. Next, they lost at Lambeau Field to the New York Jets in Week 6 and then to the Washington Commanders in Week 7 on the road.

The last time the Packers lost three straight games was in the 2018-2019 season. That season, the Packers fired head coach Mike McCarthy after losing their third consecutive game in Week 13. While current head coach Matt LaFleur is still employed, the question is can Green Bay win in Week 8 against the Buffalo Bills on the road?

As for the Super Bowl-winning quarterback, he's only faced the Bills a few times in his storied NFL career.

Can Aaron Rodgers lead the Packers over the Bills to avoid a fourth straight loss?

Rodgers has faced Buffalo three times in his career, with the last meeting in Green Bay in 2018-2019. In that Week 4 victory over the Bills, the quarterback threw for 298 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Rodgers has a 2-1 record against Buffalo in his career.

The Bills are riding a three-game winning streak heading into Week 8 against the Packers. While it's just Week 8, the game feels like a must-win for Rodger and the Packers. Packers fans can rely on one thing: they've never lost four games in a row under LaFleur.

It remains to be seen if the Packers will be wallowing in victory after their game against the Bills on Sunday night.
