"Absolutely insane": Jason and Travis Kelce were all praises for Taylor Swift as 'unbelievable' Eras Tour came to an end

On Sunday, Taylor Swift's record-shattering Eras Tour, which was attended by over 10 million fans, came to an end in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The tour, a 21-month journey, included 149 shows, an electrifying performance by the pop icon and a memorable cameo by her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, at London's Wembley Stadium during Swift's "Tortured Poets Department" set.

Jason Kelce and Travis couldn’t help but marvel at the tour's success on their "New Heights" podcast on Wednesday, as the Kansas City Chiefs tight end said:

"Well, shout out to Tay. The unbelievable Eras Tour has finally come to an end."

Starstruck by the sheer scale of the tour, the three-time Super Bowl champion added:

"It's insane, absolutely insane. Over 10 million people in the stands over the course of it, like accumulatively."

Chiming in, Jason called the tour's impact “pretty crazy." To which, Travis gave another shoutout to everybody who was a part of the show:

"Obviously, it's her, it's her music, her tour and everything. But that was a full production, man. It was the best tour in the world because of a lot of people, and mostly because of Taylor."

Taylor Swift's Eras Tour kickstarted her romance with Travis Kelce

Apart from being a cultural phenomenon, Taylor Swift's Eras Tour (2023-2024) will always be extra special for Travis Kelce. After all, it started his romance with the pop icon.

In July 2023, during an episode of his podcast, Travis revealed that he had hoped to meet Taylor at her Kansas City show and give her a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it. However, the tight end left the stadium disappointed:

“I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows, because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings. She doesn’t meet anybody — or at least she didn’t want to meet me, so I took it personal."

This was when the rumor mill began churning hinting at a relationship between the two. By September 2023, when Swift was spotted in the VIP box at Arrowhead Stadium supporting Kelce during an NFL game, the speculations turned into confirmation.

Thereafter, Swift attended 13 NFL games in the 2023 season, including the Super Bowl, where the Chiefs won the Lombardi Trophy. That said, her attendance at Kelce's games this year has decreased because of her demands for the Eras Tour. Now that it has wrapped up, Taylor Swift’s schedule might open up.
