After Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, Joe Burrow falls victim to burglary during MNF showdown vs Cowboys: Report
Joe Burrow is the latest victim of a house break-in after Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce's houses were broken into in October. The incident happened while Burrow played in the MNF game, where the Cincinnati Bengals defeated the Cowboys 20-27.
Police received 911 calls from someone whose daughter stayed in Burrow's Anderson Township house. It's unclear why the caller's daughter was staying in his home or the connection between the caller and the Bengals QB.
"Someone is trying to break into the house right now. My daughter is there. This is Joe Burrow’s house," the 911 caller informed. "She is staying there. He’s at the football game. She’s wondering what she should do, if she should be hiding, or if she should go outside. She said someone was in the house."
After some time, the daughter herself called 911 to report the break-in. She said that someone had broken into the house and that it was "completely messed up." Joe Burrow has yet to comment on or speak about the reported burglary attempt, and the police have not revealed whether anything was stolen from the house.
The NFL had already warned NFL players that "organized and skilled" groups were targetting players' and athletes' houses and trying to break into them. It happened after Mahomes and Kelce's houses were broken into in early October, but it only became known to the public in November.

Travis Kelce's house was also broken into while he was away playing an MNF game on Oct. 7. As per police reports, $20,000 was stolen from his house.
Kelce bought the house for $6 million in a gated community after it became public that he was dating pop star Taylor Swift. The two wanted to enjoy some privacy away from prying eyes. However, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift took no chances and stayed at a hotel in downtown KC after the MNF game.
Patrick Mahomes's house, on the other hand, was damaged during the same MNF game in which the Kansas City Chiefs were taking on the New Orleans Saints at Arrowhead Stadium. He bought the house in 2020 and recently furnished it with a golf hole and a practice football field.
After the third high-profile break-in in less than two months, NFL players are sure to ramp up the security of their homes.
