Eagles star AJ Brown nearly gets killed in shocking video

AJ Brown's fate stunned audiences during the NFL Draft in 2022 when he was traded from the Tennessee Titans to the Philadelphia Eagles. Now, his almost-fate is shocking fans once again.

While recording a video, the wide receiver nearly got taken out by a car. With Dwayne Haskins' death by car accident still fresh in the minds of everyone, the close call hits twice as hard.

The wide receiver appears to be fine, but is surely to be shocked by the ordeal. In the brief six-second clip posted by Eagles Nation on Twitter, viewers are treated to the receiver riding his bike from a first-person perspective. He appears to be talking smack about how easy the bike ride is before someone yells out.

As soon as the yell happens, the phone falls. Before falling, it showed a brief view of an empty road to his right, leading the assumption to be that the vehicle came from the left. In the video, it is unclear if the phone survived the drop as the video cuts out right after. That said, twitter user @secretaryhurts posted what appears to have happened next.

Brown picks up his phone and exhales a sigh of relief before continuing with the ride.

He seems to fully okay, just a close call.

Brown got to sniff greatness in 2022 by helping push the Eagles through the division, the NFC, the playoffs and eventually to the Super Bowl. However, the team fell at the hands of Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid, leaving the wide receiver empty-handed.

WTF THE DRIVER THAT ALMOST AJ BROWN BLAMED HIM FOR NOT PAYING ATTENTION WHEN THE DRIVER LITERALLY RAN A STOP SIGN… https://t.co/Kihi1LSSGX

2022 was the best season of Brown's career, beating his previous best by more than 400 yards. Before landing with the franchise, he was already on the cusp of being seen as a reliable 1000-yard machine. Now, an argument can be made that he's a 1500-yard machine. However, it will take another season at the same level to jump him to the tippy top of the league at the position.

Most fans calculate that he'll be motivated and hungry to get his team over the hump or die trying. Will the Eagles steamroll the NFC once again in 2023?
