Alix Earle reveals when Braxton Berrios aired her after confessing love to WR
Miami Dolphins star Braxton Berrios and his girlfriend Alix Earle have been quite open about sharing details of their relationship on social media. However, certain topics, like who confessed their love first, still remain behind the curtains.
Talking about love and confession, Alix Earle recently revealed how it was she who said "I love you" first and not Braxton Berrios. Earle's statement came during an episode of the "Great Company" podcast on Wednesday. Sharing the backstory of her confession of love, the SI model said:
"It was actually me. Okay. It was before his first football game last year. It was my first time going, seeing him play. Me and my friends were outside tailgating. I'm like tequila shots, this will be so fun. I went down to see him on the field and I was just like, ‘Hey, like, have a good game.'"
"He comes over to hugs, you get like five seconds and then he runs away and I was like, 'I love you.' And he looked at me and then he was hugging my friend while he was processing what I just said. And then he looks at me and like we both laugh and then he runs off into the locker room and didn't say 'I love you' back," Earle further added. (18:23)
Moving forward in her statement, Alix Earle explained how she had a conversation with Braxton Berrios after the game. In that meeting, the wide receiver said he thought the SI model's love expression was a joke. However, Earle was serious about it, and a day "later or something he ended up saying it" to her.
Alix Earle also opened up about Braxton Berrios' struggles following ACL injury
Moving forward in the podcast episode, Alix Earle spoke about Braxton Berrios' struggles at home as the wide receiver has been recovering from an ACL surgery. She said that the wide receiver was "really broken down" following his injury:
"It's hard to hear and find out that he got hurt and then just being with him the first two weeks of his recovery and to see him be really broken down about this. He's so motivated and always like, 'Go go go.' And he's very routine. So for him to like, have to sit in bed all day and then like be on crutches and can't even walk to the bathroom.
"Seeing him get so frustrated with that hurt me so much, just 'cause I felt so bad for him. But he's doing really good now. I'm just trying to be positive reinforcement, some good entertainment. I like, got his checkers and Rubik's cubes. I'm like, 'This is great, let's take up checkers.' Like we don't even need to leave the bed," Earle added further. (16:31)
Following her statement on Braxton Berrios' struggles with recovery, Alix Earle recapped a cozy date night with the wide receiver at an event by "Fendi." In the pictures Earle shared, Berrios can be spotted in a better and healthier condition.
