Josh Allen is at the center of constant NFL discussion. Some fans believe wholeheartedly in the Buffalo Bills quarterback. Meanwhile, others feel this season will serve as a rude awakening for Allen after his team lost Stefon Diggs. One NFL analyst sees the latter scenario differently.

Speaking on a September 4 edition of Good Morning Football, NFL analyst Kyle Brandt used words spoken by the Marvel villain Thanos to underline his point. He believes the 2024 season presents an opportunity for Allen to make his clearest MVP case.

1:16 Kyle Brandt "To quote Thanos, 'fine. I'll do it myself.' You drink in the red Josh Allen jersey, and the red Infinity Stone is the Reality Stone, and the new reality is that the NFL's most overrated player is the NFL's Most Valuable Player. Josh Allen is your MVP," Brandt said. GMFB

Without Diggs, most believe the pressure falls on Josh Allen to carry Buffalo's offense. Many expect him to take a step back this season. However, if Allen can hold the fort without Diggs, his doubters will likely become vocal supporters.

Most fans believe the Bills' current wide receiver corps lacks talent, and there is no hope Josh Allen will have access to a Stefon Diggs-like player. However, Diggs' 2023 numbers reveal that a current Buffalo wideout will likely duplicate his production.

Last year, Diggs tallied 1,183 yards and eight touchdowns while securing at least 100 yards in five games. However, much of his production was front-loaded.

Keon Coleman was drafted at the top of the second round this season and is set to line up as the second wide receiver on the depth chart. If defenses overload Khalil Shakir, one could argue that Coleman will have more one-on-one matchups, which will give him plenty of opportunities.

If Coleman can leverage that to 1,000 yards in his first season, the Bills may have the same production without Diggs. However, will Coleman step up, and if he does not, will Josh Allen find ways to make up the difference?
